Upcoming workshops, courses and events

Gillian Polack will be teaching workshop on the perils of punctuation and grammar at the ACT Writers Centre on 2 March and using history to build your fiction at the Queensland Writers Centre on 17 March.

Ian McHugh will be teaching a 6-week fiction writing for beginners course through CIT Solutions, starting 13 Feb at Canberra College.

Nicole Murphy’s contemporary romance novel Arranged to Love has been released into the wild by Escape Publishing.

Donna Maree Hanson’s novella Rayessa and the Space Pirates is also out from Escape Publishing.

Ian McHugh has sold new stories “Cold, Cold War” to Beneath Ceaseless Skies and “Grey Snow in the Shadows” to Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine. His story “Bitter Dreams” will be reprinted in the Clarion West 30th anniversary anthology, Telling Tales.

The faulty first print run of Kaaron’s short story collection Through Splintered Walls will be used for a series of art workshops and an exhibition of “recycled book art” in Rockingham, Western Australia.
