A picture tells a thousand words, and here at CSFG we don’t like to sell that fact short. This month, we are super excited to be able to have artist Madison Lee to speak to us all about art, working with an artist, and the value of this kind of collaboration. Madison is a traditional and fine art illustrator who produces highly detail and narrative artworks. She is also the illustrator of the cover for the upcoming CSFG anthology!
Madison will chat to us about her experiences collaborating with writers on creative projects, the benefit of working with an artist for things like your book cover, and about her creative experiences more broadly. There will also be time for a Q+A at the end.
Join us in person at the Burns Club, Kambah, in the McLeod Room from 7:30pm (room opens at 7) this Wednesday 20 August. You can also join at the same time online if you can’t make it in person. We will post the zoom link on discord or via groups.io on the day.
