Have you ever wondered what it takes to translate big ideas to the big screen?

The third Wednesday of the month is upon us, and this month we have an exciting night to talk screenwriting!

This upcoming meeting, you can look forward to a presentation on screenwriting hosted by CSFG’s own Americo Alvarenga, and featuring questions answered by Jose Molina. Jose has worked on TV shows such as Firefly, Law and Order: SVU, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Sleepy Hollow, and many others.

Americo will walk through the fundamentals of what makes screenwriting different from novel or short story writing, and how it can benefit all writers to learn another way of telling stories. At the end, we will open up questions from CSFG members to Jose.

For anyone who wants to pitch some specific questions to Jose, we encourage members to email them to [email protected], or to reach out to Americo Alvarenga through our discord.

jJoin us in person or online at Wednesday 21 May at 7pm for our April monthly meeting. This will be held in person at the Burns Club in Kambah in the MacLeod room, and a zoom link will be posted on the night for those who want to join online.
