So for those of you who missed the news, Yahoo! Groups is closing down.
The CSFG has been using Groups as its primary method of online discussion since, em (checks notes) forever, so obviously this closure impacts us quite severely. And while the End Times aren’t quite here, recent postings to the group have been taking sever hours to come through, meaning it’s probably time to start moving home.
The CSFG Committee has been looking into alternatives and it looks like our best bet moving forward is to go with Groups.io.
As such, we’ve started migrating the old Yahoo! content to a shiny new group on that platform.
All current members are strongly encouraged to sign up, either directly on the site or via an email to [email protected].
